This Cookie Policy explains how CollarIQ, Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, SDKs) on collariq.pet and our web app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure performance, and (where you consent) personalize advertising. "Similar technologies" includes browser local storage, session storage, and SDKs in our mobile apps that perform comparable functions.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work — they manage your cart, remember your login, secure your session, and route checkout requests. These cannot be turned off. Examples: cart_token,_shopify_y, __cf_bm (Cloudflare bot management).
Performance & analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use privacy-friendly analytics (PostHog, self-hosted) with IP anonymization. We do not use these to identify individual visitors.
Functional
Remember preferences such as your dark-mode setting, currency, language, and the last product variant you viewed.
Marketing
Measure the performance of our ads on Meta, TikTok, and Google. These are off by default in the EEA, UK, and California, and only set after explicit consent via our cookie banner.
How long do cookies last?
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain for between 7 days and 24 months, depending on purpose.
